Itoshima is a land facing the Sea of Japan in Fukuoka Kyushu, famous for its delicious seafood. Every year, thousands of tourists visit Itoshima's Funakoshi oyster huts. Amongst them, there is a famous store called Hattoriya, run by a generation fisherman who's family has been surviving off Itoshima's waters for hundreds of years. The family dives and carefully collects the natural Akamoku growing in the sea of Itoshima. Once harvested, the fresh Akamoku extract Fucoidan Jelly is sent directly from Fukuoka to our warehouse in Miyaki for packaging.
